1. Base course treatment: before use, the base course surface of basement and garage must be completely cleaned and the honeycomb, pitted surface, crack and looseness of the base course must be repaired. The base surface is wet with water, but there is no open water on the surface.
2. Do not dilute DPS or mix it with other liquids. Spray directly with the original solution. Shake the solution well (at least 1 minute) before use until foam is formed. If the solution is frozen, it can be used after completely melting, and the material performance will not be affected.
3. It is appropriate to use brush, roller brush or large and medium-sized low-pressure spray. Uniform application shall be ensured so that the surface DPS is saturated. For vertical walls, apply DPS from the heel of the wall to ensure uniform application. It shall be carefully sprayed to prevent any omission.
4. Do not use DPS on the surface of aluminum products, glaze or glass, otherwise corrosion will occur; In case of accidental contact, rinse with clean water.
5. The construction environment temperature is between 5-35 ℃.
6. If there is a pipe through the floor or wall in the basement, the concrete at the pipe shall be sprayed once, and the cement mortar cover shall be sprayed twice.
7. For newly poured concrete, when the structure has been determined or the formwork can be removed within 24 hours (when people can walk), the grease or mud on the formwork shall be removed first. The surface was immediately treated with DPS so that the surface reached a saturated state. Note that the second layer of DPS should be applied after 24 hours.
8. Defect treatment:
【1】 If the crack width is greater than 0.3mm, it shall be treated as follows: V-shaped groove shall be opened at the crack, and the depth shall not be less than 30mm. The V-shaped groove shall be cleaned and washed with clean water. After it is naturally dry, DPS shall be sprayed once, then the V-shaped groove shall be filled with plugging cement, troweled, and then DPS shall be sprayed twice.
【2】 For the garage, there are surface cracks of more than 3mm and water seepage in the basement: the surface is completely sprayed with DPS, and then the cracks are filled with cement slurry (1 part of water plus 1 part of DPS and 3-4 parts of cement are mixed to reach the appropriate concentration). The cement slurry is effective within 15 minutes. After filling the cracks with cement paste, scrape the surface with a blade, and then wet the surface with water with a soft paint brush. Spray DPS again. After 10 minutes, fill the cracks of concrete with cement slurry again; The third layer DPS is applied. After 20 minutes, the cement slurry is filled into the cracks of the concrete; The fourth layer DPS is applied. Make full use of DPS in the repaired place If the surface water flows out at a speed of more than 4 L / h, repeat the above steps. If necessary, the epoxy resin can be injected into the cracks or holes to plug them.
【3】 The amount to be applied shall be determined according to the absorption of the concrete base surface. Under normal circumstances, only two layers of DPS are applied to the general concrete. Generally, the applied amount should be 0.2-0.3 kg / m2. DPS shall be fully used in places with high local permeability and porosity of concrete according to site conditions.
【4】 The normal penetration time of permanent condensate DPS after brushing is 2-3 hours, and slight contact is allowed 30 minutes after treatment. Walk on the ground after 3 hours or when the surface is dry. After 3-7 days of spraying, backfilling or other subdivisional works can be carried out.
【5】 Detailed structure treatment: the inlet and outlet parts of the water tank and other water pipes shall be pre coated with permanent condensate DPS before large-scale construction. For some detail structures that may damage the integrity of the waterproof sealing layer, such as pipes, embedded parts, post pouring belts, construction joints and deep cracks that pass through the waterproof layer, effective waterproof reinforcement measures must be taken to improve their tightness. The construction joints and internal and external corners of the exterior walls of the garage and basement shall be strengthened. Leakage stoppage can be adopted for strengthening treatment.
